Alright, since I think presently I'm the veteran of the program, I'll be giving tutorials... I'll say it now, so you don't get confused... it's suggested that you save the files to your computer, rather then running them.
If you do not have WINZIP, get it here:
www.winzip.com/downauto.cgi?o=1&file=winzip112.exe&email=your%20emailFirst think you need to do is download the FIRST thing on the list, the YVD 8.6 Installer.
Next, go to
www.scrollrack.com/Sets_Images.htm, and download the files for 8.6, sets, images, tokens, token images.
After you have everything, run the installer, follow that little thing, install it to whatever drive you want it on that's available to you.
After installation go into the folder that has the installer[Or the desktop, if that's where you put everything], and the files from scrollrack.
Now comes the confusing part... run the Full Images Pack file, and unzip them to the path[EX; C:\Program Files\YVD\Images] that your Images folder is in.
When that is done, go into that images folder and create a NEW folder, and label it 'tokens'. Without the quotation marks.
Now, go to the token images.zip file in the folder previously stated where you downloaded everything to, and open it.
Select all of those files in there, and drag them into the 'tokens' folder you just made in your YVD\Images path.
Next, go back into the main YVD path, and go into the SETS folder.
From there, open the tokens.zip you downloaded, and drag those two files in there into your YVD\SETS path.
And last, but not least, go to the YVDCS6.zip folder you downloaded, and copy the yvd.set file in there into the YVD\SETS path. After that file is done, rename it to something else. I have mine set to yvd1.set
Note, that by doing all of this, you SHOULD be done with most of the primary set up stuff you need to get everything working. All that's left is to run the stuff in the program itself.
Run the YGO Virtual Desktop.exe, click Duel. That will bring up the 'Deck Shop' screen.
Click Import New Cards in the top left corner of the Deck Shop, click Browse, go into the SETS folder, and select your new yvd1.set[if you followed the same naming process I did.]
Click open, then "scan .set file for now cards" button, and let it scan.
When it's done, click the "Add Selected Cards to Database" button. This will take a couple of minutes, so don't freak out if it stops responding. Just let it run.
Now that all of that is done, you're ready to start building your deck, and dueling! Enjoy, I hope this helped.
