You know the feeling, the urge to rant because your angry or upset. Well, heres the thread to do it in. Read the rules then rant all you want. Cheerio mates. Have a good time. I made this out of compleat and total boredom, I still want to hear some form of ranting going on in the cbox... It wouldn't be the cbox without ranting.
Rule # 1. You may not badmouth someone on the site, or someone who might see this post. ((Celebritys are fine, they get ranted about enough that they are probably used to it.))
Rule # 2. Do not use excessive cursing! Although the site has a filter it can be offensive.
Rule # 3. Don't do anything againt the normal site rules.
Rule # 4. Title your rant as,
"Rant number: __."
"Rant title: _______"
"Poster: ____"
and fill in the blanks please. Only rant number is really needed, we may as well keep track of how many we do.
Rule # 5. If your going to have Spoilers for something put a spoiler alsert in it.
~This is the spolier alert~

Why do most girls find the bad boy complex attractive? I for one have no idea, other then the proven facts about why. But thats not what this is about. This is about my feelings towards it, and why it seems rather pitful. Because even in Death Note we find fangirls that hated L and loved Light. They even think that he should have been ruler of a new, "peaceful", world! Peacful, bah. He was a nutjob just waiting to crack. By the fourth episode you should have realised that he was going to end up out of control and that he was friggin mental.
L at least wasn't going to try and become a "new worlds God", so why do these girls hate him? The bad boy complex. I'll admit it, I dont compleatly get the bad boy complex, to me Light was mental, not a bad boy. He wasn't even close to being a bad boy in my eyes. So in my eyes those girls should have been cheering for L from the start, not for some mental idiot who uses everyone that he meets. Light did in the anime, anyone who has watched Death Note, or read the manga should realise that. Yet some girls cheered when L died, though a lot stopped reading and or watching the anime or managa after he died some cheered. Its rather sad and disturbing really. At least Light got what he deserved in the end.
Mello and Near were intresting, although I maintain that L deserved to be the one to capture Light. But then again we would have never had the slight, very slight look into his past. But was L dieing worth that? Probably not. Mello and Near were both intresting in their own right, Near probably more so to me because of the way he acted. Mello truly would have been too emotional to be the new L, whereas Near wasn't.
Oh, and there is another bad boy that I just mentioned. Mello, the chocolate obsessed guy. He's got that bad boy complex going as well, just watch the anime and you'll see what I mean. The way that he acted, the way that he talked, even the way that he walked screamed bad boy.
And all of this reminds me, why does that guy with the goggles in Death Note (I cant remember his name right now) have fangirls from here to wazoo? He appeard in what, two episodes in the anime? And only a couple of chapters in the Manga. You didn't see much of his personality, unlike Mako who, whilst dueling and not, showed at least ten times more personality then he did in the anime or manga.
So why doesn't Mako have more then five fangirls? Bad boy complex, think about it, Seto Kaiba has many many fangirls because he is the anti hero ((AKA a bad boy)). As said in a parady...
"I’m an not a very nice person, remember? I can legitimately get away with these things and have fangirls at the end of the day. My incredible hawtness makes my self-righteous attitude seem like a minor character flaw. That’s why so many people find me irresistibly attractive."
You know, the thing is that it fits Kaiba very well. And it also shows something from the bad boy complex. A typical bad boy is good looking, and has a self-righteous attitude. He is normally a jerk, and rather mental to boot. Yet people love that specific character. Probably because of our instinctual needs, we would want someone strog to protect our young, therefor we would want the bad boy. The one that seems strongest and most able to protect you and your child. So overall in my opinion, its instinct that make you want the bad boy. Pure instinct and nothing
Rant over and out.
Oh, and by the way, Mako Rules.
